The turbo lift doors swish closed behind you as you step onto the bridge. The familiar sounds of the operations, render a familiar tune in your head. The busy hands of the bridge crew at their stations, dance across the interface panels like a carefully choreographed ballet, each crewman working in tandem with the next to form a seamless unified well oiled machine. No wonder the Enterprise is the flagship of Starfleet.

YOU: Mr. Stewart, report.

Ens. Stewart: The onload is almost complete. We have about 20 minutes before everything is onboard and secured for transport.

YOU: Very good. Lt Uhura, I assume we have a response back from Starfleet?

Lt. UHura: Yes, Captain, Starfleet is dispatching an ambassador to meet with the Tagarrians and work on first contact procedures. This incident, according to Vice Admiral Torin, made following first contact protocol almost impossible. He will oversee it from here. Our orders are to assist the Tagarr anyway we can, but primarily securing their ability to self sustain their ship. We are to make no efforts in solidifying a relationship other than that of our customary good samaritan policies.

YOU: So we fix their ship and let the ambassador smooth over the relations. I guess I can get behind that. Vice Admiral Torin is a very good officer for the job. Let's focus on getting these guys back up and running.
