Station Rank System

A new rank system is being introduced specifically for Frequent Station Visitors ( FSVs). Since not everyone on board this installation is a member of Starfleet, this rank system will be used universally. These ranks are independent of your faction ranks. This means that if you are a Captain in Starfleet, or the Romulan Empire, you are STILL a Captain, but while on this station you have a rank specific to this station. This rank will be used to grant you special access to new content among other things.

You earn your rank by accumulating points earned by completing challenges. In some events, points can be wagered. Starting this September, all existing members of Starfleet Holodecks will be issued the rank of ENSIGN with 200 PTS.

You will be issued a PREFERRED MEMBER graphic that you MUST have displayed in your photo section of your wall. Failure to do so results in rank and point reset to Cadet Status. This is important so we can quickly authenticate you as a veteran member. New Members as of October 2023 will NOT have access to this graphic.

All NEW members joining October 2nd 2023 will be issued the rank of Cadet with ZERO points. As you gain points, your name will be added to the list of Ranking Officers where your earned points will be totaled.

As you reach each rank threshold point value, your rank will also be reflected. you may update your character profile accordingly.

Extra merit awards will also be issued during events which include bonus points. These will be awarded in the form of graphic awards for your character profile wall.

RANK TIERS

Rank Tiers indicate the command level that you have reached. With each command level, you will unlock new features on the station before lower ranks do. You will access in some cases to content that the lower ranks ever will. For example, Private Watch Parties where only the ranks in your tier or in some cases your tier and above. Special contests to help you level up as promotions are harder to come by at higer ranks.

Tier 1 is our lower decks class. These underclass are still learning the ropes, completing missions, and earning their levels.

Tier 2 is our command staff for the lower decks. They help lead the cadets in learning how the station operates and how they can particiapte to earn their promotions.

Tier 3 is our upper command division. These officers have earned premier access to the station and have earned their security clearence to the technologies lab.

Tier 4 is our senior command division. Officers earning this rank are offered a place on the stations senior command staff and join the administration staff as well as developers.
